ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PANEL

As one of the most popular felds nowadays, “artifcial intelligence” (AI) concerns how a machine mimics human’s “cognitive” functions. Traditional problems of AI research include reasoning, planning, learning, natural language processing, perception, and the ability to move and manipulate objects. AI has transformed many aspects of our lives -- from iPhone Siri to Snapchat image flters, autonomous driving to DJI phantom, Amazon Echo to security robots, and more. Predictions of the near future intrigue a large group of people from various disciplines. Regardless whether you are an entrepreneur, scholar, student, or white collars, during the 2018 CMU Summit Artifcial Intelligence Panel, we will take you on a journey to gaze into the near future, a world submerged by computer science and mathematics, statistics and machine learning, logic and algorithms.
